FY2020-2021 Year End Report

UAPMC UPDATE
June 29, 2021

What a year! This fiscal year forces us to embrace the digital space as we still grapple in this health crisis. We do wish for everyone’s safety and well-being in spite of these challenges, this too shall end. As we approach the new fiscal year, here’s a year in review on the accomplishments and feats that adds up to the rich history of this prestigious chapter.

The central theme for this fiscal year revolves around conversation in the diverse cultural identities that truly defines who we are as Filipinos.

We feel lucky to have so many discussions with architects, anthropologist, entrepreneur, psychiatrist, and even fitness enthusiasts – and we couldn’t have done it without your utmost support. Thank you for supporting the programs as well as the activities of the chapter. If you managed to attend all of our web events, you’ll snatch a whooping 9.5 CPD units.

Another milestone for the chapter is the Corporate Social Responsibility programs that primarily aided our fellow countrymen. First is the “Bayanihan para sa ating mga Kababayan – Typhoon Relief in Isla Pugad” which benefitted 100 senior members of the community. Special thanks to one of our sister chapters UAP Ilo-Ilo Marikudo Chapter for supporting this cause.

Second is the “E-cycle” Electronics donation drive for distance learning program, where the chapter donated tablets, printer, and even a photocopier to aid Filipino students who adjusted into the blended learning system. As reported by the Office of the Vice-President and Kaya Natin Movement!, our donation reached 4 community leaning hubs.

Lastly for our CSR through our collaboration with WWF, the chapter adopted a “Tamaraw” through the organization’s adopt a specie program not only considered as one of the Philippine icon but also one of the most endangered buffalo species endemic in our country. The chapter also endorsed Ar. Gabriel P. Formoso, FUAP, a Likha awardee and one of the charter members of the chapter for the conferment of his status as National Artist.
